Page history last edited by Iya 1 yr ago

Listed below are possible errors found on species pages on the EOL. Please briefly describe the error and provide the link to the appropriate page (if applicable). If you know the problem is now fixed, please remove it from this list. Thank you.

  • Currently diatoms are classified under plants on EOL but diatoms are unicellular and/or colonial and have cell walls of silicon.
  • A number of common European freshwater fish (e.g., Phoxinus phoxinus, Rutilus rutilus etc.) mysteriously appear endemic to the Arabian Sea but are absent from Norway and large swathes of the European mainland.
  • Incorect pictures of a Grouper. ex: http://www.eol.org/taxa/17059270 and many other Grouper pages.
  • Under the list of ant genera is listed Amazonlilly.
  • Different species of fish are on same species page http://www.eol.org/taxa/17130411.
  • Some measurements listed for organisms are maximum sizes and lengths rather than average sizes and lengths.
